Virago Athlete Management LLC is a boutique agency specializing in consulting, athlete management, and representation for athletes in winter sports. The Virago brand was made to empower women in the sports world, with guided direction to be successful, ambitious female leaders. Male athletes welcome, too! 

Specializing in skiing and snowboarding, Virago provides sponsorship negotiation, activation and fulfillment, individual brand marketing, schedule coordination, and event and media management for athletes in Olympic sports.

Our Mission

Virago's mission is to serve the athlete in all areas of their professional careers, ensuring they have the tools and resources to reach their career goals. Additionally, we believe that the reputation that the athlete creates as a public figure is crucial to how they are perceived in their local communities. Giving back their time is of utmost importance when they are able. Event coordination with local non-profits, foundations, and organizations that will benefit both the athlete and the community is encouraged by Virago. 

Our Story

Virago Athlete Management was started by Chelsea Steinbach in the summer of 2017. Chelsea was formerly the Team Manager of the Women's Alpine Team at U.S. Ski & Snowboard. During her 10 years with the Team, she saw many areas where athletes could benefit from additional assistance with managing contractual obligations, event planning, and communications with media. Chelsea has a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Utah, is a board member of Women in Sports and Events (WISE) and a board member of the Park City Chamber of Commerce.
